Natalie Light
Natalie has sold multiple TV shows, including one-hour dramas “The Week” and “PTA”, to Warner Bros and Warner Horizon. She has completed numerous feature writing assignments as well as projects with Berlanti Productions, Appian Way and Three Things Productions.

Whether it’s the dysfunction of cutthroat PTA members, or wealthy elites stranded at a campsite, or a cohort of suicide hotline workers, Natalie loves to explore the messiness of relationships and the truth hiding under the surface. Edgy, dark, character-driven dramas in both TV and film are her jam.
Of Brazilian and Serbo-Croatian heritage, she was raised in Greenwich Village, NYC, and attended Quaker High School before attending Stanford University, where she majored in English and Film. She then apprenticed with David Mamet and William H. Macy at the Atlantic Theater Company in NYC and founded two theater companies, where she wore the many hats of playwriting, directing, acting, and producing original and existing off-Broadway plays. Writing emerged as her favorite and she soon moved to the West Coast.
In Los Angeles, she completed a two-year professional program at Writers Bootcamp (under Script Anatomy Founder Tawnya Bhattacharya herself!) and the UCLA Writers Program for both TV and Features. She placed in the Nicholl Fellowship, Scriptapalooza, and the UCLA Top Ten TV Pilots, which got her signed, and she began doing writing assignments for producers/directors, such as Jesse Collins, Chris Robinson, and Karen Black.
More recently, Natalie has sold multiple one-hour drama TV shows to Warner Bros., Warner Horizon, and Berlanti Productions, as well as developing—you guessed it—a dysfunctional drama with Leonardo DiCaprio’s production company Appian Way about “mean moms” and a satirical tale of an elite college with Melissa Benoist’s company, Three Things Productions.
Natalie also serves on the board of Stanford in Entertainment in Hollywood, where she brings seasoned alums together for panels and events as well as helping newer alums navigate the business and craft of entertainment. But her favorite pastime is her family and taking care of her two kids and her four senior and special needs dogs.
