Testimonies

Moises is so personable and truly cares about our scripts. He would apologize for going over time because he’d get so passionate about teaching and guiding us on our pilots. And when he broke down our story concepts he would unearth some really cool metaphors and themes where the student was like “shit, I never thought of that but that’s good!” I loved his notes. If I asked him to be ruthless he was, and when dealing with students who weren’t quite getting it, he was compassionate and motivated rather than discouraging.

Moises Zamora and Script Anatomy are the dream team I never knew I needed until I took this class. Finally, I was able to find a course and a teacher that allowed me to understand pilot writing at a reasonable pace and help hold me accountable. Without this class, I would have never started writing my pilot!

Moises’s classes changed the trajectory of my writing career. As a published novelist, I wasn’t sure how easily I’d transition into TV writing, but from the very first class, Moises created a space that was both creatively challenging and deeply encouraging. His notes are sharp, intuitive, and honest. He knows how to push you while still making you feel seen. He teaches the craft well and creates a safe space that cultivates creativity with confidence. Moises helped me find my voice as a TV writer and made me believe this path is possible for me. If you’re serious about writing for television, take one of his classes. You’ll walk away better and braver than when you started.
