Tracy Bitterolf had ambitions of making it to Broadway in musical theater, but a case of vocal nodules caused her to set her sights on Hollywood, instead.
A native of Los Angeles, she started her career as a producer in reality TV (specifically The Bachelor, where her job was to make the contestants cry). She then became part of the first batch of YouTube stars when she co-created a comedic web series dedicated to giving dating advice to guys, and wound up with an audience comprised mostly of ten-year-olds.
Inspired by her deep love of Troop Beverly Hills, she created Team Kaylie for Netflix Kids & Family, where she served as Co-Executive producer for 20 episodes. She has written several pilots for Nickelodeon and Disney Channel, and is currently writing a romantic comedy feature.
Tracy won an Emmy for writing and producing the modern day Jane Austen web-series “Emma Approved,” but she still hasn’t figured out where to put it. She’s also written and produced dozens of viral videos for Whats Up Moms, PopSugar and YouTube Originals.
When not writing, she spends her time chasing her two children around and searching L.A. high and low for the perfect cupcake. Tracy is repped by Epicenter Management and you find her on insta @tracybitterolf.
Tracy is new to Script Anatomy, so testimonials will be coming soon!
