Salon
an advanced writers group
The Script Anatomy Salon is a high-level writers group for experienced alumni only who understand the techniques and the process. It is largely invitation only, but we are also open to applications.
To be eligible, you must have taken at least 5 classes with Script Anatomy, and you must also be approved. Not everyone who has taken 5 classes will be admitted.
The Salon meets 4x a month on Zoom for 3 hours. It is led by a Script Anatomy instructor and it is limited to 6 writers. Each writer is given 30 minutes to use in any way they please. Pitch new ideas (TV or Film). Read out any of the Script Anatomy tools—a beat sheet, scene, or up to 10 script pages to get feedback. Ask for writing/career advice.
Unlike most writers’ groups, the Salon group and the instructor will NOT read materials beforehand.
(Note: working writers seeking a class with feedback may consider our Masterclass).
It costs $300/month which writers must pay in advance in order to save their spot. Writers may remain in the group for as long as they wish. We require 30 days cancellation after which your spot will be made available to another writer. There are no refunds for missed sessions.
