Salon—An Advanced Writers Group
Thursdays 6pm – 9pm (PST)
From September 8th 2022 onwards
The Script Anatomy Salon is a high level writers group for experienced alumni only.
This exclusive group meets four times a month on Zoom for 3 hours. It is led by a Script Anatomy instructor and it is limited to six writers. To be eligible, you must have taken at least 5 classes with Script Anatomy, and further to that, you must also be approved. Not everyone who has taken five classes is automatically admitted. (If you are interested in applying, please email email@example.com.)
Here’s how the Salon works.
Each writer is given 30 minutes to use in any way they please. Pitch new ideas (TV or Film) to the group to see what sticks. Read out loud any of the Script Anatomy tools, a beat sheet, scene, or up to 10 script pages to get feedback. You can also ask for writing/career advice. Unlike most writers’ groups, the salon group and the instructor will not read materials beforehand.
(Note: if you are a working writer who wants a class with feedback and other working writers, consider our Masterclass).
The cost is $300 a month which writers pay in advance in order to save their spot. You may remain in the group for as long as you wish, but we require 30 days cancellation after which your spot will be made available to another writer. There are no refunds for missed sessions.
Required: Five classes with Script Anatomy + approval by committee.
When: Every Thursday, 7pm–10pm from September 8th 2022.
Instructor: Kevin Townsley
Cost: $300/month paid in advance.

INSTRUCTOR DISCLAIMER: Since all of Script Anatomy’s instructors are working writers, opportunities sometimes arise in their careers that prohibit them from teaching. By paying and signing up for this class you are acknowledging and agreeing that the original instructor of this class may change before the class begins.
