I will read and analyze your Feature Screenplay Outline twice (30 page maximum) and give you verbal/written notes, as well as suggestions and tools to revise and elevate your concept, strengthen your story structure and theme, build compelling characters and relationship, raise story actions and stakes and go deeper emotionally. The outline is a crucial piece of your feature script development. Addressing story problems in the outline stage will not only improve your screenplay immensely, but make your life much easier when you get to script.

I will read your script twice (draft and rewrite draft) with an eye out for what is and isn’t working in your movie, then meet you in person (or via phone or Skype) to provide detailed verbal and written notes and guidance to help you elevate your screenplay to the next level. This is not “coverage” — I will target whatever is not working in your screenplay and give you detailed notes on how to address the problems. When we meet, we will cover the notes and diagnosis that I’ve already written up as well as have a back and forth conversation where we’ll discuss options and brainstorm some ideas. We’ll cover every aspect of your screenplay from conceptual and story issues and structure to character flaw and character development, character goal, dynamic relationships and progression, theme and the transformational arc, obstacles and conflict, set piece moments, scene work, dialogue and more. When we meet in person, we will not only go over the notes but together we’ll discuss ideas and options so that you walk away knowing what you need to do in your rewrite. Each of the three stages includes a meeting (60 -90 minutes each), wherein I’ll give you verbal and written notes to help you fine tune and elevate your story at every stage. I’ll cover every aspect of your screenplay from conceptual and story issues and structure to character flaw and character development, character goal, dynamic relationships and progression, theme and the transformational arc, obstacles and conflict, set piece moments, scene work, dialogue and more. In this package you will also get the added bonus of the tools I teach in my classes. I will review those before you move onto the next step so we make sure you are on track before delving into the rewrite.
