About

Have a great idea for a TV show? Or a rough outline for a spec? Maybe you’ve finished a draft of that pilot and need feedback for your rewrite. Wherever you are, Script Anatomy can help. Our one-on-one consultations are tailored to meet your specific needs, whether you’re still honing your concept or you’re further along in the process. While consults allow you to choose how much feedback you need every step of the way, Script Anatomy classes walk you through a specific weekly syllabus in a small, supportive group of writers. Classes vary in curriculum; please see our “Classes” page for more information.

With nearly 10 years of teaching under my belt, I’ve worked with writers looking to sell projects, gain acceptance into a fellowship program or land a staffing job — while some simply want to explore the craft and develop their voice. Regardless of what your goals are, I want you to come away from our work together with a clearer vision of your project and a deeper understanding of how to execute that vision. I want you to feel reinvigorated, not just on your current project, but on every single one afterward. I want you to fill your toolbox with exactly what you need to build your writing dreams into reality.

Script Anatomy TV & Feature class alums and private clients have sold shows, features, and webisodes, and been staffed on several major networks, including: Hulu, Netflix, Showtime, BBC Worldwide, Fox, NBC, ABC, ABC Family/Freeform, USA, Sony, The Montecito Picture Company, Warner Brothers, HBO Films, Walt Disney and more. SA writers have been signed with CAA, ICM, UTA, APA, Paradigm, Don Buchwald & Associates, Gersh, Brillstein Entertainment Partners, The Gotham Group, Circle of Confusion, Echo Lake Entertainment, Chemical Imbalance, Silent R Management, Rain Management Group, and more.
